Assuming you want to know the truth here, to achieve all the natural-looking patinas and textures on this fountain, we had to: pound it with a variety of different hammers, twist it into weird contortions, then untwist it, shoot it repeatedly with special bullets, heat it, quench it, then hit it with strange chemicals. All that work just to get the “look” of something you’d find in a magical copper mine. It’s really pretty.
